Alvaro Morata's preference is reportedly against being sold from Juventus to Real Madrid unless he will play as a starter.

The striker was signed by the Old Lady in 2014, but a clause in the contract allows the Merengues to buy him back for €30m.

According to Tuttosport, Morata would be against that move unless he were guaranteed a place in Madrid as a starter, while he'd be against the operation if he is only to be sold again.

Reports suggest that the Spanish club may simply use Morata to make a profit, buying him at the agreed €30m and then selling him to another club at a higher price.

Should Morata leave, Calciomercato.it report that Juventus may replace him with Marseille's Michy Batshuayi.
