Milan have officially announced that Cristian Zapata and Jherson Vergara’s contracts have been extended until 2019.

The latter spent last season on loan at Livorno, and has yet to make a Serie A appearance for the Rossoneri since signing in 2013.

However, at the age off 22 the club has clearly seen enough potential to extend his contract at San Siro for a further three years.

Fellow Colombian Zapata made 14 Serie A starts last season, but became a regular toward the end of the season.
