While the Partenopei are also targeting Emmanuele Giaccherini, it’s thought the arrival of the Sunderland man wouldn’t preclude Pereyra’s signing.
The Argentinian international is believed to be close to an €18m transfer, and Radio Crc reports that his agent, Sergio Furlan, is in Naples today.
The radio station believes that Furlan could meet with Vesuviani President Aurelio De Laurentiis tonight in order to finalise the deal.
