Borja Valero: 'Viola dominated Milan'

Borja Valero believes Fiorentina “dominated the whole game and Milan created very little” in the 0-0 draw.

Josip Ilicic fired a penalty on to the upright, but deep into stoppages Luiz Adriano appeared to be felled by Nenad Tomovic right on the edge of the box.

“Was there a foul at the end? I was far away, so didn’t see very well. It could be,” the Viola midfielder told Mediaset Premium.

“We dominated the whole game, they created very little. We should be happy. What matters is winning, but we had so many shots on goal and will try to do the same in the next matches.”

This week Borja Valero said he’d like to stay in Florence to the end of his playing career and even beyond.

“I would like to end my career here and then stay on as a director, or any role is fine.”
