Trapani Coach Serse Cosmi has spoken to the press following the fire that destroyed his car near his home.

The 58-year-old went back to his home in Perugia afer the incident but was keen to play down suggestions that the cause of the fire could have been arson.

"I returned to Perugia to give peace of mind to my family, it was the President [Vittorio] Morace who told me to take a few days off.

“I do not want to make assumptions on the fire, the firemen had reassured me that it was not arson, then I received the same information from the police station.

“I do not want to speculate. This city does not deserve a figure like that, I have no reason to think badly of the people here, I feel like a native son.”
