“I had a lot of responsibility on my shoulders last season, when Gonzalo Higuain got suspended for three rounds,” Gabbiadini told Total Italian Football.
“However, I know that this time it is different. Milik is an exceptional guy and I am really disappointed to hear about his injury.
“I want to take the chance to prove to everyone, including in Europe, who Manolo Gabbiadini really is.
“I will give it my all because I want to do well and make the fans happy.”
