Roberto Gagliardini’s agent confirms a deal is done for the Atalanta midfielder. “Inter have signed the future of Italian football.”
The Italy international midfielder is expected to undergo a medical in Milan tomorrow.
Agent Beppe Riso was spotted leaving the Inter HQ this evening and was asked if the deal is done.
“Let’s wait for the medical, but basically… Inter have signed the future of Italian football.”
Still only 22 years old, the move is a €2m loan with €20m option to buy at the end of the season that should become obligatory after a certain number of appearances.
There are also performance-related bonuses which Sky Sport Italia and Mediaset Premium claim are worth up to €6m.
He is also set to sign a contract worth €2m per year.
Growing up in the Atalanta youth academy, this is the Gagliardini’s debut Serie A season.
He has amassed two assists in 13 Serie A appearances, while he also played one Coppa Italia tie this term.
Last season he was on loan at Serie B outfit Vicenza.
