“It’s a crucial encounter for us, because Pescara caused us huge problems in the first round of the season. They are one of the few sides who really did make us struggle badly,” Insigne told Mediaset Premium.
The Delfini had taken a 2-0 lead before the Partenopei clawed it back to 2-2.
“We need to approach the game with the right mentality from the start. It’s always nice for me to play against Pescara, as I had a fantastic season there with Ciro Immobile and Marco Verratti, but today we are opponents.”
Maradona is in Naples for a theatre appearance tomorrow evening, but doesn’t appear to be in the stadium.
“I hope Maradona will come to the stadium and watch us play. I’m going to the theatre tomorrow anyway and hope to take a picture with the greatest player the world has ever seen.”
