The agent of Emanuele Giaccherini insists the midfielder is happy to stay at Napoli, despite his lack of appearances this season.
Giaccherini has played just 236 minutes of football for Napoli since joining from Sunderland last summer, prompting speculation the Italy international is seeking a move away, but Furio Valcareggi made it clear his client’s fate lay at the San Paolo.
“Giaccherini is fine at Napoli,” the representative told Sky Sport 24.

“Giaccherini is fine at Napoli,” the representative told Sky Sport 24.
“He doesn’t play much but he’s already made 11 appearances. Among the peripheral players, he’s the one who’s played the most.
“We’re looking at this market but no-one has been looking for me [or Giaccherini].
“Something came up in the past, but I know that [sporting director] Giuntoli didn’t want to give him away, not even Sarri.
“Our fate will be at Napoli. Those who have tried [to sing]? I won’t say, but it wasn’t Fiorentina.”
