The midfielder underwent his medical this morning and was given the all-clear, so will be in the stands for this afternoon’s Serie A match with Genoa.

“It all happened very quickly and I’m trying to get things done as fast as possible so I can be ready to play," he told Viola TV.
“I can’t wait to get started, today I’ll be at the stadium to cheer on my new teammates.
“The technical quality of this side is certainly the most important thing. As soon as I heard about this opportunity, I didn’t have to think twice.
“I chose shirt number 21, as I saw the list of available jerseys and it was the first one that came into my mind.”
