Eusebio Di Francesco says Sassuolo are now getting the results their displays this season have deserved.

The Neroverdi endured a torried first half to the campaign, ravaged by injuries and struggling for form.

However, today's 2-1 victory over Udinese was their fourth win in six Serie A matches, reviving hopes of a top-half finish.

"Now the results are coming too," Di Francesco told reporters after his team's comeback triumph. "Maybe on other occasions we played well, but we got less than what we deserved.

"Now the results are coming too," Di Francesco told reporters after his team's comeback triumph. "Maybe on other occasions we played well, but we got less than what we deserved.

"Today I am happy with the reaction, though not with the first 15 minutes in which we did not turn up on the pitch.

"It is something I am struggling to understand, but overall the team played a very good match both in our build up and defensively."

Di Francesco then discussed his decision to bring on match-winner Gregoire Defrel, whose two goals turned the game on its head.

"In the second half Udinese changed, they went to 4-2-3-1 because they weren't picking us up. They went too deep.

"I went to a 4-2-4 to get more density up front, I put Defrel on and I was lucky to be right."
