Luis Enrique believes his team are going the right way towards recording their first League win of the season, but is equally keen to actually secure it.
The 41-yaer-old says his players are eager to prove themselves to the Roma support, and is grateful for the reaction he has seen post-Inter.
The Spanish Coach received plaudits after the Giallorossi's 0-0 draw at San Siro on Saturday night. Whilst it meant the team are still without a League win this season, but Enrique acknowledged the effect the positive reaction has had.
"I cannot quantify it, but it has definitely been helpful for trust, for the future, creating a balance."
The former Barcelona B Coach also is optimistic of the team's chances against Siena, who they prepare to face on Thursday evening.
"Facing Siena will be a complicated game for us. We should create many opportunities in attach, but at the same time must pay attention to thwart any counter-attacks.
"I see a team that wants to win, that feels indebted to their fans. I think it is the perfect game for us. I hope it will be a great match, the intention is always the same though, to win.
"We prepare for games in this way because we are convinced that it is the best way to achieve a result. I am convinced that this is the best path to achieve a result.
"I do not care if I get complaints when the goals are not coming, as I'm sure they will come soon.
"I'm not worried that we are not materialising because I know that the results will arrive. We need a win because the team is working in the right way, and then the team works, then they want to see results."
Enrique also spoke of the challenge of working around a tight fixture schedule, and how he views squad rotation.
"Clearly three games in a week is a lot. We're not accustomed to this, it will be important to assess the physical condition of the players. The team has trained well this week, I've seen players who are hungry.
"I'm not the type of Coach who has only 11 players though. I look to all those who are available, with specific gravity towards certain players in the group."
