Atalanta's Ezequiel Schelotto admits that he is hoping to be included in the Italy squad for the November friendlies against Poland and Uruguay.
"It's clear that is my dream," the right-sided player noted. "It is an objective that I have been chasing for some time.
"Nevertheless, Atalanta come first and we have the game against Cagliari on Sunday," he continued.
"For now I just want to concentrate on doing well in the Atalanta shirt – there is plenty of time for everything else."
The 22-year-old, who can play at right-back or in midfield, was actually born in Argentina, but he's been in Italy since 2008.
The former Cesena and Catania player has Italian citizenship, thanks to a great grandfather, and he's won three caps for the Italian Under-21 side.
