Line-ups: Cassano's Milan face Catania

Antonio Cassano, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Robinho and Mark Van Bommel start as leaders Milan travel to Diego Simeone's Catania.

The 19.45 UK time kick-off sees the Rossoneri face a tricky test, as the Elefantini are strong on home turf.

Coach Max Allegri has a huge number of absentees, including Alessandro Nesta, Gennaro Gattuso, Andrea Pirlo, Clarence Seedorf, Mathieu Flamini, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Gianluca Zambrotta, Pippo Inzaghi, Marco Amelia, Marek Jankulovski, Ignazio Abate and Rodney Strasser.

New signings Urby Emanuelson and Van Bommel made their debuts in the Coppa Italia midweek, but only the veteran Dutchman gets a start again here.

Once again, Alexandre Pato is pushed to the bench in Serie A, despite scoring a brace in the Cup tie with Sampdoria.

Catania make their home debut under new Coach Simeone, who goes for an all-out attack system.

Giuseppe Mascara and Alejandro Gomez support Argentine hitman Maxi Lopez.

Mariano Izco, Pablo Alvarez and Giuseppe Bellusci are sidelined.

Catania: Andujar; Augustyn, Silvestre, Spolli, Capuano; Carboni; Ledesma, Sciacca, Gomez, Mascara; Maxi Lopez

Milan: Abbiati; Bonera, Yepes, Thiago Silva, Antonini; Ambrosini, Van Bommel, Merkel; Robinho; Ibrahimovic, Cassano
