Rossi to leave Villarreal if...

Only an enticing financial offer and Champions League football will tempt Giuseppe Rossi away from Villarreal this summer, says his agent.

In an interview with, Federico Pastorello has revealed which conditions need to be in place for the Italian to move on.

"It depends on what the offer on the table is for the club and the player, then he will look at whether he can play Champions League football next season," the representative noted.

"The player is happy from a football perspective and from an economic point of view at Villarreal. It will depend on the offer and the sporting project on offer.

"We agree with the club that it must be a top club and top offer to Villarreal for Giuseppe to consider a move.

"If he moves he will only move to have the opportunity to win something important and play in the Champions League.

"I really don't know what will happen in the summer. We extended his contract in February and he is really happy with that deal."

Rossi has enjoyed the best season of his career with the La Liga club who look good to qualify for next season's Champions League.

However, the Italy international has been linked with numerous outfits over the last 18 months.

Juventus failed to acquire his services last summer, while Tottenham had a £30m January bid rejected.

Barcelona have also recently been linked with the man who is tied to Villarreal until the summer of 2016.
