Line-ups: Italy v Ireland

Italy make big changes for tonight's friendly with the Republic of Ireland, with Giampaolo Pazzini partnering Giuseppe Rossi.

The two nations go head-to-head on neutral turf in the Belgian city of Liege at the Stade Maurice Dufrasne, kick-off at 19.45 UK time.

Cesare Prandelli has already announced his line-up with the midfield relatively untouched from the side that beat Estonia 3-0 on Friday.

Only Giorgio Chiellini, Riccardo Montolivo, Claudio Marchisio, Andrea Pirlo and Rossi remain from the side that started against Estonia, while Antonio Nocerino came on after 24 minutes for the injured Alberto Aquilani. Crucially, Montolivo is moved to the trequartista role.

Pazzini was also a substitute in that Euro 2012 qualifier and scored a goal, but now starts with Villarreal talent Rossi.

Giovanni Trapattoni makes big changes to his squad after a 2-0 qualifying win over Macedonia.

Hull defender Paul McShane steps in to captain the side, as Robbie Keane, Aiden McGeady, Shay Given, John O'Shea, Kevin Kilbane and Keith Fahey have gone home.

There were injury doubts over O'Dea and Hunt.

Italy: Viviano; Cassani, Gamberini, Chiellini, Criscito; Nocerino, Pirlo, Marchisio; Montolivo; Rossi, Pazzini

Ireland: Forde; McShane, St Ledger, O'Dea, Ward; Coleman, Andrews, Foley, Hunt; Keogh, Long
