Serie A 2020-21 for free on LiveScore

LiveScore has announced extended free-to-air streaming rights for 2020-21 and will show 306 Serie A matches for audience in UK and Ireland.

An expanded set of league and competition free-to-air live streaming rights for the upcoming season was unveiled in a press release from the real-time sports updates and streaming service today.

Pirlo's Juventus target Tonali

With Andrea Pirlo as the new coach, the Juventus transfer strategy shifts from Jorginho to battling Inter for Brescia talent Sandro Tonali.

Gravina doesn't think stadiums open on September 19

President Gabriele Gravina said the FIGC is ‘concerned’ ahead of Serie A 2020-21 and doesn’t think fans will be back in stadiums on September 19.

Serie A confirmed the dates for the upcoming season on Monday, starting on September 19 and ending on May 23, 2021.

Today, the Federal Council was held, and Gravina, who participated, told the reporters after the meeting: “We have worked a lot in recent days on the basic protocol.

Official: Serie A from September 19 to May 23

Official: Serie A 2020-21 starts on September 19, ending on May 23, 2021.

Serie A has decided to recover the games from the initial calendar set to start on September 12 will on January 3 next year.

“The Lega Council met today at 19.00 (local time) and unanimously resolved that Serie A TIM 2020-21 will start on the weekend of September 19,” read the statement from Lega Serie A.

“The decision confirms the preference already expressed in the afternoon by the majority of the clubs in a meeting dedicated to this topic.”

Opta's best XI Serie A 2019-20

Inter and Atalanta have only one player each in Opta’s best XI for the 2019-20 Serie A season, as Cristiano Ronaldo and Ciro Immobile star in attack with Papu Gomez and Paulo Dybala.

Inter and Atalanta ended second and third in the final table, but only had one representative each in Opta’s best XI based on their data for the season.

With Wojciech Szczesny in goal, Juan Cuadrado at right-back, Dybala and Ronaldo in the attacking trident behind Lazio forward Immobile, champions Juventus had four players in the side.

De Vrij suspended for first match in 2020-21

Inter defender Stefan de Vrij will miss the first match of 2020-21, as the Disciplinary Commission announced the verdict after Serie A Week 38.

The Dutch defender was books on the last day of the championship, when Inter won 2-0 against Atalanta on Saturday.

The Orobici will be without Berat Djimsiti and Fiorentina-bound Sofyan Amrabat has also been given a one-match ban after his red card in Genoa-Verona, along with a fine of €5,000.
