Raiola: ‘No renewal offer for Matuidi’

Mino Raiola reveals “we haven’t received any offer from Paris Saint-Germain” to renew Juventus target Blaise Matuidi’s contract.

The midfielder seemed set to join the Bianconeri in the summer, but PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi stepped in to block the move.

It was then reported that the French champions would tie Matuidi to an improved contract, but his agent says no offer has been forthcoming.

“We haven’t received any offer from PSG,” Raiola told Le Parisien.

Agent: ‘Silva could return to Milan’

Thiago Silva’s agent admits a return to Milan is “possible” if he doesn’t renew his Paris Saint-Germain contract.

The centre-back left the Rossoneri for Parc Des Princes in 2012, but his current contract expires at the end of next season.

With no talks currently underway concerning a renewal, rumours have emerged that the 32-year-old could return to San Siro.

“At the moment everything is stopped,” agent Paulo Tonietto admitted, speaking to Calciomercato about the contract talks.

Thiago Silva’s agent says there’s been “no contact” with Milan but Paris Saint-Germain haven’t offered a renewal yet.

Thiago Silva’s contract talks with Paris Saint-Germain broke down, so Brazilian media suggest a possible return to Milan in 2017.

The defender turns 32 next week and is under contract with PSG until June 2018.

He is having negotiations for a renewal, but they have reportedly hit problems.

Now Brazilian media UOL claim Milan are interested in bringing Thiago Silva back to San Siro after his €42m move in 2012.

The centre-back made the transfer alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic, going on to form the core of their success.

Thiago Silva reveals Gennaro Gattuso once got on the wrong side of Zlatan Ibrahimovic - who threw him in a bin!

Silva: ‘Nesta apprenticeship at Milan’

Thiago Silva puts his development while at Milan down to Alessandro Nesta, who had “incredible class.”

The Brazilian spent three-and-a-half seasons with the Rossoneri before joining Paris Saint-Germain, and believes his time in Italy was beneficial.

“I was only training for six months, because when I arrived at Milan I couldn’t be registered, as I took them over the quota of foreign players,” Silva recalled, speaking to AS.

‘Roma Scudetto favourites’

Former Milan defender Thiago Silva sees Roma as favourites for the Scudetto this season.

The Brazilian international left the Rossoneri in 2012 for Paris Saint-Germain, but spoke to Gazzetta dello Sport about the Serie A season.

“For me, Roma are favourites,” Thiago Silva explained.

“The Giallorossi have made a big signing in [Edin] Dzeko, the type of player they needed. We’ll have to see how the new signings integrate for their rivals.

‘Milan can’t afford Thiago Silva’

The agent of Paris Saint-Germain defender Thiago Silva says he is too expensive for Milan, but would like to return to San Siro one day.

The Rossoneri are on the hunt for a new centre-back this summer, but agent Paulo Tonietto ruled out any possibility of a swoop for the Brazil international.

“One day Thiago could return to Fluminense as well as Milan, and he would like to, but at the moment there is not the slightest chance that he could change club,” Tonietto said to MilanNews.it.

Rumours of the midfielder heading to Ligue 1 have intensified this week, and after the 3-1 victory over Metz last night, both players were asked about Pogba.
