Jorginho at Chelsea 'four more years'

Jorginho intends to stay at Chelsea “for at least another four years,” said his agent, who also denied any Maurizio Sarri call from Juventus.

The midfielder followed Sarri to Stamford Bridge from Napoli last year and won the Europa League, so there were naturally reports the pair would be reunited again at Juve.

“No, nothing of the sort happened,” agent Joao Santos told Radio Kiss Kiss.

Chelsea work on Emerson renewal

Chelsea are reportedly ready to give Italy international Emerson Palmieri a pay rise after a strong start to the season.

Emerson has broken through as Chelsea’s first-choice left-back under Frank Lampard, while he started Italy’s 3-1 win in Armenia on Thursday.

With that in mind, Gazzetta dello Sport’s Nicolo Schira claims the Blues have opened contract talks with the 25-year-old.

Although his current deal does not expire until 2022, Schira writes the London club want to extend it by a further year.
