Julio Cesar: ‘Ramires an animal’

Former Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar describes perspective new Nerazzurri signing Ramires as ‘an animal in a good sense.’

The San Siro club are believed to be close to securing a deal to bring in the former Chelsea midfielder, who currently plays for sister club Jiangsu Suning in the Chinese Super League.

And Cesar, who has played with Ramires while on international duty with Brazil, believes the 30-year-old will prove a valuable addition to Luciano Spalletti’s squad.

Mourinho: ‘Contempt for Conte’

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho seeks to end his war of words with Chelsea’s Antonio Conte, offering “contempt, silence”.

The pair have been involved in a furious back and forth over the past few weeks, with the Italian angered by the Red Devils boss talking about Coaches behaving like “clowns” on the touchline.

That was seen by many as a reference to Conte and Jurgen Klopp, and the former Italy CT hit back by suggesting Mourinho has senile dementia.

Conte: Wanted Alexis at Juve…

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte admits he tried to sign Alexis Sanchez for Juventus when he was an Udinese player.

Arsenal stand to lose Alexis for nothing at the end of the season, and Conte was spotted whispering into the Chilean attacker's ear before Chelsea's goalless draw with Arsenal in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.

“He knows very well in my first season in Juventus we tried to buy him from Udinese and then he decided to go to Barcelona,” the Coach said at a Press conference.

Conte: Anything is possible…

Antonio Conte has confessed that “everything is possible” regarding his future as Chelsea boss.

Conte has only one year left on his contract with Chelsea, and there has been an increasing sourness on the Italian's part, including an ongoing feud with former Inter Coach Jose Mourinho.

“I have another year on my contract at this club but, in football, everything is possible,” he said at a Press conference.

Candreva: 'I'd like Premier League'

Antonio Candreva admits he’d “love to have a go playing in the Premier League,” but thanks Luciano Spalletti for helping him learn new things at Inter.

The winger turns 31 next month and has long been linked with a move to England, amid interest from Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal.

“I really like the Premier League, as it’s an exceptional competition. I’d love to have a go at playing in the Premier League,” Candreva told Calcio 2000 magazine.

Zidane on Juventus wish-list?

Zinedine Zidane, Simone Inzaghi and Roberto Mancini are all candidates for Juventus should Max Allegri move on next season.

There have been multiple reports that Antonio Conte is ready to quit Chelsea and return to Italy in the summer, with Allegri being a prime contender to replace him.

Allegri on Chelsea shortlist

Massimiliano Allegri is reportedly on Chelsea’s shortlist to replace Antonio Conte, but Juventus have no intention of letting him go.

The Coach has won the double for the past three seasons in a row, as well as reaching the Champions League final twice in that time.

Conte is expected to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, and today the Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Allegri is being considered as a possible candidate to replace him.

PSG in for Alex Sandro?

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in Juventus full-back Alex Sandro, but any transfer would take place in the summer.

Chelsea were pushing to sign the Brazilian last summer, but he ultimately decided to remain with the Bianconeri.

However, the left-back still hasn’t signed a new contract in Turin, fuelling speculation that this could be his last season with the Old Lady.

According to calciomercato.com, PSG are keen to sign him, though any deal would have to wait until the summer.

‘Conte captain of EPO Juventus…’

A journalist close to Jose Mourinho says Antonio Conte captained a Juventus team fuelled by EPO, and that the Portuguese has better hair.

Doctor Riccardo Agricola was given a 22-month suspended prison sentence in 2004 for administering banned substances to players between 1994 and 1998, including the blood booster EPO.

In December 2005 though, both he and managing director Antonio Giraudo were cleared of sporting fraud by Turin's court of appeal.
