Milan: Watford set Deulofeu price?

Watford reportedly value Gerard Deulofeu at €30m, which would price Milan out of a deal to bring back the winger.

It was first reported last week that Milan were working on Deulofeu’s return, but Tuttomercatoweb warns Watford are demanding €30m for the Spaniard.

The Rossoneri have already spent €70m on the signings of Lucas Paqueta and Krzysztof Piatek this month, making it unlikely that they will splash out more cash.

New Watford-Milan talks for Deulofeu

Gerard Deulofeu is reportedly eager for a Milan return, but Watford are demanding €25m without a loan portion of the deal ahead of today's crunch talks.

Multiple sources in Italy point the winger towards a comeback to San Siro, where he already played on loan for six months from Everton in 2017.

Watford paid €13m plus bonuses to buy the Spain international from Barcelona this season, so are determined to make a profit on the 24-year-old.

Inter pick Carrasco, Milan go for Deulofeu

Inter are now leading the race for Yannick Carrasco, offering Antonio Candreva to Dalian Yifang, so Milan turn to Watford’s Gerard Deulofeu.

The Rossoneri had set their sights on Carrasco, who is eager for a return to Europe after his €30m transfer to China a year ago.

However, their city rivals have taken the upper hand over the last few days and Sky Sport Italia claim they could use Candreva as part of an exchange.

They no longer require the Italy veteran and he confirmed he’s looking elsewhere due to the lack of playing time.
