Stramaccioni: 'Milan are superior'

Udinese Coach Andrea Stramaccioni has admitted that Milan have more quality than his side ahead of their Serie A encounter on Saturday evening.

Stramaccioni’s side host the Rossoneri at the Stadio Friuli tomorrow and he outlined what the Zebrette must do to stand a chance of winning.

“These are the matches that make you give that something extra,” he said during his pre-match Press conference.

'Return of the real Udinese'

Andrea Stramaccioni calls for the return of the “real Udinese” while blaming injuries for his recent poor record.

The Zebrette find themselves in troubled waters, having picked up only three points in their last five games, but their Coach feels it isn't too late to turn things around.

“We've already come across difficult moments in this season,” he said in his Press conference.

“The medicine for that is to put everything we've got on the pitch so we can return to being the real Udinese.

Strama: 'Ugly Udinese defeat'

Andrea Stramaccioni told Udinese they “need to change tack fast” after a humiliating defeat to Palermo.

The Friulani were already thrown into a training retreat as punishment for a 1-0 midweek loss to Parma, but fell 3-1 on home turf today.

“I compliment Achraf Lazaar, because he scored a sensational goal that immediately allowed Palermo to focus on the counter-attack,” the Coach said on Rai Sport.

Strama punishes Udinese

Andrea Stramaccioni is reportedly furious with his Udinese players after defeat to Parma, imposing extra training this week.

The Zebrette were defeated 1-0 by the Ducali in a rescheduled game last night, a shock result given the Emilian side are bankrupt and bottom of Serie A.

Now Calciomercato reports that Stramaccioni will put his players ‘in ritiro’ - essentially a training camp - as punishment this week ahead of the Palermo game.

Stramaccioni: 'Udinese got it wrong'

Andrea Stramaccioni concedes Udinese “got it all wrong” in their defeat to Parma, while the club takes action.

The Friulani were beaten 1-0 at the Stadio Tardini in the rescheduled Serie A Week 24 game.

“It’s difficult to comment on this match, as we had been unbeaten in four rounds,” Coach Stramaccioni told Sky Sport Italia.

“We weren’t the usual Udinese today. We got it all wrong and weren’t as aggressive or determined as usual.

Strama: 'Fine Perica debut'

Andrea Stramaccioni is proud of Udinese's four-game unbeaten run, singling out Chelsea loaner Stipe Perica against Genoa.

Yesterday's game at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris seemed to start on the wrong foot for the Zebrette, as they found themselves one goal down after less than 20 minutes, but a tap-in by Cyril Thereau gave them the equaliser they were looking for.

Stramaccioni's attention, however, went to 19-year-old striker Perica, who put in a strong performance in his first Serie A start.

Strama: ‘Year zero for Udinese’

Udinese Coach Andrea Stramaccioni insists he’s building a ‘new cycle’ and this was agreed as ‘year zero’ for the Zebrette.

The Friuli side are 12th in Serie A, having been more accustomed to fighting for European places over the last decade.

However, the former Inter Coach insists he and the controlling Pozzo family were already aware this would be a season rebuilding.

Stramaccioni content with point

Andrea Stramaccioni praised Orestis Karnezis and Antonio Di Natale after Udinese picked up a point against Atalanta.

“We could’ve done more, but we gave a sense of consistency to our performance against Torino,” Strama told Rai Sport.

“It wasn’t easy against Atalanta, but I think we slowly took control of the match. Towards the end we created more than our opponents, but a point is acceptable.
