Criscito will be sold, reveal Genoa

Genoa have alerted clubs across Europe to the fact that they are ready to sell Domenico Criscito this summer.

"The boy will certainly leave," Rossoblu President Enrico Preziosi told Radio Kiss Kiss on Thursday.

"He's been at Genoa for some time and it is only right that he moves on to a different club.

"A switch to Napoli? It has been discussed, but I don't see a great amount of interest from the Azzurri for Mimmo.

"As far as I am concerned, I am ready to negotiate and people know where I am."

No Genoa return for Milito

Diego Milito has dismissed speculation that he could return to Genoa this summer by committing himself to Inter.

Milito has been linked with a third spell at Marassi after his most recent campaign in Milan was hampered by form and fitness issues.

However, after last night's 3-1 win over Palermo in the Coppa Italia, the Argentine says he's staying a Nerazzurro.

"I'm not even thinking about leaving Inter," Milito, who scored the third in the Cup Final, told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Ballardini on Cesena list

Davide Ballardini has joined Marco Giampaolo as a serious candidate to be handed the Cesena job.

The Sea Horses are looking for a new boss after Massimo Ficcadenti left by mutual consent just days after ensuring they avoided relegation.

Giampaolo was widely considered as the favourite for the job after Bologna opted not to offer him the Dall'Ara bench.

However, Ballardini is also understood to be a contender to take the Stadio Manuzzi hot-seat this summer.

No Genoa return for Borriello

Marco Borriello's agent has categorically dismissed the notion that his client could move to Genoa this summer.

Speculation had suggested that Milan, who still own the player, could hand him back to his former club as part of transfer talks between the two outfits.

"Such a possibility is to be considered as fantasy football," Tiberio Cavallari noted. "We are talking about a highly improbable scenario.

"I also doubt that Roma, once they sign him outright, would then consider his sale," continued the representative.
