Valencia have reportedly renewed their interest in Juventus playmaker Hernanes.

The Brazilian midfielder joined the Bianconeri from Inter last summer, but failed to impress during his first season in Turin.

Benfica approach Hernanes

Benfica have reportedly asked Juventus to take midfielder Hernanes on loan with option to buy.

The 31-year-old arrived from Inter on the last day of the 2015 transfer session for €13m.

He has struggled to find a suitable position or regular first team football in Turin.

Under contract until June 2018, Sky Sport Italia claim Benfica have contacted Juventus to request Hernanes on loan with an option to buy.

The Bianconeri would prefer to sell outright, especially as the Brazilian has attracted interest from Chinese Super League clubs.
