However, Felipe Anderson has been brought back into the fold after a row with the Coach following the Genoa game.

Felipe Anderson: ‘Everything for Lazio’

Felipe Anderson puts his spat with Simone Inzaghi to bed, promising to “give everything” for Lazio.

The Brazilian had a furious confrontation with the Biancocelesti Coach after the defeat to Genoa, and he was left out for Saturday’s trip to Napoli.

Felipe Anderson still frozen out

Felipe Anderson is still training separately from his Lazio teammates and could be dropped for the Europa League against Steaua Bucharest.

The Brazilian was dropped for last night’s trip to Napoli as punishment for a bad attitude when coming off the bench in the 2-1 defeat to Genoa.

He had a row with Coach Simone Inzaghi, while director of sport Igli Tare confirmed he and team manager Angelo Peruzzi gave Anderson a stern talking to.

Napoli and Lazio squads announced

Raul Albiol and Dries Mertens are included in Napoli’s squad to face Lazio, who as expected drop Felipe Anderson.

It had been feared that the Partenopei’s Belgian forward had sprained his ankle after limping off during last weekend’s 2-0 win at Benevento, but he is fit for tonight’s game at the San Paolo.

There were also doubts over the availability of Spanish defender Albiol, who himself sustained a knock, but he too makes Maurizio Sarri’s 21-man squad.

‘Anderson needs different attitude’

Simone Inzaghi warns Felipe Anderson “needs a different attitude” after dropping him for Napoli but assures “we’ll wait for him.”

Anderson considers Brazil return?

Felipe Anderson is reportedly considering a return to Brazil, despite Lazio’s insistence on keeping the winger.

Anderson’s future at Lazio hangs in the balance after a reported bust-up with Coach Simone Inzaghi, but Corriere dello Sport claims the 24-year-old has not been fully focused for some time.

This is because he would have thought about staying in Brazll over the Christmas holidays, amidst feelings of ‘nostalgia’ for his country.
