Felipe Anderson training alone

Felipe Anderson trained alone today, according to reports, and he’s not expected to be called-up for Lazio’s trip to Napoli.

The Brazilian midfielder had a row with Coach Simone Inzaghi after the defeat to Genoa on Monday, with reports that only Lucas Leiva prevented them from coming to blows.

Despite Lazio playing the incident down, it’s reported Felipe Anderson could be sold after his confrontation with Simone Inzaghi, with Inter a possible destination.

The attacking midfielder came on with 20 minutes to go against Genoa on Monday, but his performance was poor as the Grifone took a shock 2-1 win.

Lazio deny Anderson issue

Lazio’s spokesman insists Simone Inzaghi and Felipe Anderson simply had “a civil and natural discussion” after the Genoa loss.

It was reported earlier today that Coach and player had a furious bust-up after the surprise loss, with Lucas Leiva having to come between them before it turned physical.

“It was a civil and natural discussion after a match like the one with Genoa,” Arturo Diaconale clarified on Lazio Style Radio.

Inzaghi-Felipe Anderson bust-up?

It’s reported Felipe Anderson and Simone Inzaghi had a furious bust-up after Lazio’s defeat to Genoa on Monday night.

The Brazilian came on as a substitute with 20 minutes to go, but his performance was largely ineffective.

The Coach stated after the match that Anderson “could have done more” and now Premium Sport is reporting the pair had a furious row after the final whistle.

Inzaghi: ‘Lazio were tired’

Simone Inzaghi puts Lazio’s loss to Genoa down to “a bit of fatigue” and admits Felipe Anderson “could have done more”.

The Aquile fell to a shock defeat at the Olimpico tonight, with Diego Laxalt’s late header denying them the chance to move further clear of Inter and Roma.

“We had some difficulties, we faced a Genoa side who played the game they had to do,” Inzaghi noted, speaking to Premium Sport after the final whistle.
