Bild: Kouassi has chosen Bayern

Milan transfer target Tanguy Kouassi has already agreed a deal with Bayern Munich, claims Bild, after leaving PSG as a free agent.

The 18-year-old defender opted against signing a professional contract with Paris Saint-Germain, having been promoted from their youth academy.

He had been linked with Milan and RB Leipzig, but RMC Sport had already reported last week that he was looking elsewhere.

Arsenal beat Milan to Upamecano

It’s reported Arsenal have won the race for RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano, who was also a target for Milan, Manchester United and Bayern Munich.

According to Tuttosport newspaper, the 21-year-old has made his decision to join the Gunners.

It’s also stated that RB Leipzig agreed terms, informing Milan that they are not going to sign the centre-back.

The Rossoneri had hoped that the imminent arrival of RB Leipzig director Ralf Rangnick as their new coach would help sway Upamecano towards San Siro.

Flick: 'Bayern know Perisic's quality'

Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick has assured Inter loanee Ivan Perisic that the club ‘knows his qualities’.

Bayern’s €20m option to make their loan deal for Perisic permanent expired on May 15, fuelling suspicions the winger would return to Inter.

However, the 31-year-old scored in a 2-1 win against Eintracht Frankfurt yesterday to help the German giants reach the DFB-Pokal Final.

“We know Ivan’s qualities,” Flick said after the game.

“He showed them today, like he has on previous occasions.

Inter and Man Utd target Tolisso

Inter and Manchester United are interested in Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso, claim RMC Sport in France.

He turns 26 in August and only joined Bayern from Olympique Lyonnais for €41.5m in the summer of 2017.

Tolisso is currently out of action following ankle surgery, but did play 24 competitive games for the Germans this season, contributing three goals and five assists.

Roma reportedly want €30m to part company with sought-after creative midfielder Cengiz Under this summer.

According to Calciomercato.it, the Turkey international is one of the main candidates to leave in order to balance the books.

He has plenty of speculation around him already, with interest from Juventus, Bayern Munich, Everton and RB Leipzig.

Under turns 23 next month and so far this season has contributed three goals in 15 Serie A appearances.

He was snapped up by former Roma director of sport Monchi in 2017 for €14.25m.

Inter CEO Beppe Marotta wants to sit down with Lautaro Martinez and ‘make him understand’ that he will be better off staying at San Siro.

The Nerazzurri director spoke about the upcoming operations and the deals already done, revealing the move to Paris Saint-Germain for former captain Mauro Icardi had pleased all parties involved.

'Allegri's next adventure is abroad'

Cagliari President Tommaso Giulini reveals he ‘asked Max Allegri’ to take the Sardinian job in January. ‘He told me his next adventure will be abroad.’

It would’ve been a return for the former Juventus and Milan coach, who was on the Cagliari bench from 2008-10 under President Massimo Cellino.

“I made a bit of a mad phone call towards the end of January, offering Allegri the job, knowing full well it was going to be impossible,” Giulini said on Sky Sport Italia.

Toni: 'Fiorentina perfect for Ribery'

Luca Toni was always confident ‘Fiorentina is the ideal club’ for Franck Ribery and helped broker the surprise transfer.

The pair played together at Bayern Munich and remained good friends, so when Ribery became a free agent over the summer, Toni suggested a new experience in Italy.

On this day: Inter win the Treble

On this day 10 years ago, Inter became the first Italian team to ever win the Treble, beating Bayern Munich 2-0 in the Champions League Final.

With the 2009-10 Serie A and Coppa Italia already tied up, Inter returned to Spain just weeks after they battled to a 3-2 aggregate victory over Barcelona.
