Hateboer: 'Valencia will be beautiful'

Hans Hateboer has revealed he is looking forward to Atalanta's "most beautiful" match against Valencia in the last 16 of the Champions League this month.

Atalanta are through to the knockout stages of the prestigious tournament after qualifying from the group stage in their first attempt.

The Dea started off on the wrong foot, as they lost the three first legs of the competition and were heading for an early exit.

De Leo: 'Young Bologna are growing'

Emilio De Leo focused only on Bologna ahead of a “tough game” on Friday night and said the Rossoblu “will have to be resilient” against Roma.

Bologna are currently 11th in Serie A and arrive in the capital after back-to-back wins against SPAL and Brescia.

De Leo said he expects Bologna will have to “use all our resources” to have a chance against Paulo Fonseca’s men tomorrow.

'Decisive month' for Dea

Robin Gosens has claimed that February will be “an important month” for Atalanta, who want revenge after the Coppa Italia exit against Fiorentina.

After a small setback, the Dea still climbed to fourth in Serie A, with a little help from Sassuolo last weekend.

Roma lost to the Neroverdi and Atalanta surpassed the Giallorossi, but Gosens has conceded that the Nerazzurri are entering a “decisive” period.

Biglia: 'I support Italy in the Euros'

Milan midfielder Lucas Biglia will support Italy during Euro 2020 and said the best moment of his career was to play in the World Cup Final with Argentina.

“In the European Championship I will support Italy,” he told Tuttomercatoweb. “They are one of the national teams I like the most. It’s a country with a lot of great players.”

The former Lazio player played for Argentina in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and was in the starting line-up when Argentina lost 1-0 to Germany in the Final of the tournament.

Demme: 'Gattuso my idol'

Diego Demme has admitted “it was nice” to help his team with his first Napoli goal last weekend and revealed coach Gennaro Gattuso was one of his “idols”.

After a turbulent season so far Napoli have started to gel under Gattuso and are currently 10th in Serie A on 30 points.

Demme, who scored during the 4-2 win against Sampdoria, has been compared to Diego Maradona, mostly because of his first name, and reveals he is named after the Argentine hero.

Lecce to 'limit' Napoli

Giulio Donati has claimed he is ready to limit Napoli, as Lecce will approach Sunday’s match at the San Paolo with “a lot of energy”.

Boateng: 'I didn't have to think twice'

Kevin-Prince Boateng said he “didn’t have to think twice” about moving from Fiorentina to Besiktas this winter.

The former Ghana international was loaned out to the Turkish club with a performance-based option to make the deal permanent this summer.

Fonseca slams 'inconsistent refereeing'
