Milan could still sell Suso

Olympique Lyonnais have confirmed their interest in Suso as it emerges Milan could still sell the Spaniard this summer.

Milan looked to have taken Suso off the market after Marco Giampaolo called him ‘world-class’ following his performance against Manchester United last weekend.

Leicester close to Praet deal

Leicester City are reportedly close to a €20m deal with Sampdoria for Dennis Praet, who had also been linked with Milan.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the two clubs are on the verge of an agreement for €20m plus bonuses.

It had been rumoured yesterday that Leicester were offering Rachid Ghezzal plus cash for Praet.

However, HLN in Belgium suggest it's worked out at €26m cash, but he has not yet agreed personal terms.

Lyon: 'We're looking at Suso'

Olympique Lyonnais President Jean-Michel Aulas confirmed Milan star Suso is “one of the players we are looking at.”

The Spain international is trying to adapt in a new trequartista role behind the strikers in Marco Giampaolo’s 4-3-1-2 formation.

He has a €40m release clause in his contract and there are reports he’d be available for €35m, with interest also from Roma and Monaco.

Castillejo: 'Won't leave Milan'

Samu Castillejo has no intention of leaving Milan and “will not consider any offers,” according to his agent. “If he plays more, he’ll score 10 goals.”

The 24-year-old winger only joined from Villarreal last summer and contributed four goals with four assists in 40 competitive games, but might be pushed further down the pecking order by new Coach Marco Giampaolo’s 4-3-1-2 system.

Ancelotti: Small Napoli advantage

Carlo Ancelotti believes Napoli have a ‘small advantage’ on their Serie A rivals after a summer of minimal changes.

Napoli have kept their best players this summer, while adding Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Kostas Manolas and Eljif Elmas to their squad.

That comes in contrast to Inter, Juventus, Roma and Milan all changing Coach and making extensive alterations in terms of personnel.

“I’m calm and I will be until September 2,” Ancelotti told Gazzetta dello Sport.

Milan still keen on Praet?

Milan are reportedly still keen on signing Sampdoria midfielder Dennis Praet – but only if Franck Kessie leaves.

Leicester City appear to be the favourites for Praet, yet Gazzetta dello Sport claims Milan remain interested in the Belgian.

However, the newspaper stresses the Rossoneri will only move for the 25-year-old if they can shift Kessie.

The Diavolo recently signed the Ivorian outright for €24m after his two-year loan from Atalanta became permanent.

Monaco reject Silva for Pellegri?

Monaco have reportedly rejected a proposal from Milan to swap Andre Silva for ex-Genoa forward Pietro Pellegri.

Pellegri’s agent Beppe Riso was at Milan’s offices on Monday for talks with Rossoneri officials.

Tuttomercatoweb explains the Diavolo offered Silva for Pellegri in an attempt to push the Portuguese to Monaco.

However, the website warns the Ligue 1 club turned down the request as they are ‘not convinced’ by the former Porto striker.

Bennacer: Couldn't resist Milan

Milan new boy Ismael Bennacer is proud to have joined ‘one of the most glorious clubs in the world’ and admits ‘you can’t say no’ to the Rossoneri.

Bennacer’s long-awaited transfer to the Diavolo from Empoli was finally confirmed yesterday, and the Algeria midfielder is delighted to have made the move.

“I’m very happy to be here and to be part of this glorious club,” the 21-year-old told Milan TV.

Zenga to Nantes, Gattuso to Miami?

As Nantes move for Walter Zenga after being rejected by Gennaro Gattuso, the former Milan boss could link back up with David Beckham at Inter Miami.

Gattuso was offered the role at Nantes, but Gazzetta dello Sport reports he passed up the opportunity.

The newspaper adds the French club are now in negotiations with Zenga, who is currently out of work after leaving Serie B side Venezia in March.
