Krunic: 'Not a Milan number'

Rade Krunic assures he is ready to make a success of his Milan “dream” and explains why Stefano Pioli is a better fit than Marco Giampaolo.

The midfielder has struggled to make an impact since his arrival at San Siro but started the match against Lazio last time out, and he is now hoping to kick on against Juventus this Sunday.

“They are the best team in the League, the hardest club to play against,” the 26-year-old told Tuttosport.

The referees for Serie A Week 12 have been announced, with Fabio Maresca given Juventus-Milan on Sunday.

He will be officiating Milan for the first time this season, although they have never lost when he has been referee.

The VAR at Allianz Stadium will be 45-year-old Paolo Mazzoleni.

Bennacer: 'Milan can beat Juve'

Ismael Bennacer insists Milan can beat Juventus with the “right spirit” on Sunday and reveals how Stefano Pioli has been “closer” to the squad.

Milan are 11th in Serie A and have won just once since Pioli replaced Marco Giampaolo as coach.

This weekend they face the League leaders, and Bennacer wants to make a statement.

“We are Milan, not Lecce,” warned the midfielder.

“Juventus and Lecce drew, so we can win. We just need to have the right spirit.”

“I feel good and I’m sorry about how that match ended [when Milan lost 2-1 to a late Lazio goal last weekend],” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

Milan 'go for Rakitic & De Paul'

After reporting Franck Kessie could leave in January, Sport Mediaset now claims Milan will focus on signing Ivan Rakitic and Rodrigo de Paul.

A poor start to the season has fuelled speculation that Milan will make changes to their squad this winter.

As revealed earlier, Sport Mediaset expects Kessie to be the subject of renewed interest from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Diavolo are said to be ready to part with the Ivorian for a fee of around €25m.

Milan ready to sell Kessie?

Sport Mediaset is reporting Milan have placed Franck Kessie on the transfer list, with the Premier League his likeliest destination.

Kessie, who joined Milan in the summer of 2017 from Atalanta, is thought to be viewed as expendable by the Rossoneri hierarchy, for the right price.

As per Mediaset journalist Claudio Raimondi, the Diavolo are prepared to accept an offer in the region of €25m for the Ivorian.

Raimondi states that Wolverhampton Wanderers, who were interested in Kessie last summer, are still interested.

Milan wanted Puel

There are reports that Milan's hierarchy couldn't agree on who should replace Marco Giampaolo, with Ivan Gazidis wanting Claude Puel.

Giampaolo was sacked after a dismal run of form in which Milan won only three of their opening seven games.

Il Giornale reports that Milan CEO Gazidis wanted former Lyon and Southampton manager Claude Puel to take over from Giampaolo.

However, the report also states that directors Paolo Maldini and Zvonimir Boban wanted an Italian coach, or at least one who was experienced in Serie A.
