Report: Conti close to Viola

Fiorentina are reportedly on the verge of signing Andrea Conti from Milan.

SportItalia journalist Alfredo Pedulla reveals the 26-year-old wants to move and the two clubs are close to reaching an agreement over the transfer details.

The report claims the two parties are in advanced talks over a paid loan with an option to buy worth in total of €10m.

Conti’s contract at San Siro expires in June 2022 and the broadcaster claims the right-back is getting closer and closer to the Artemio Franchi.

Kessie: 'Zlatan can still take penalties'

Milan midfielder Franck Kessie said he would allow Zlatan Ibrahimovic to take penalties for the Rossoneri ‘if he feels like it’.

Ibrahimovic missed a penalty against Hellas Verona and was amusingly self-deprecating after the match, saying he would ‘leave the next one to Kessie’.

The midfielder has grabbed the opportunities from the spot but revealed he could give it back to Zlatan if the Swede ‘feels like it’ during a game.

Bonazzoli out of Milan match tomorrow

Torino attacker Federico Bonazzoli had to stop training today and will therefore not be available against Milan tomorrow.

The club has confirmed on their websites that the Granata striker had to finish the training prematurely due to fatigue in the left thigh flexors.

The former Sampdoria forward will therefore not be available for tomorrow night’s match against the Rossoneri in the Coppa Italia.

Pioli: 'Zlatan will get minutes against Torino'

Milan coach Stefano Pioli confirmed Zlatan Ibrahimovic ‘will find minutes’ against Torino in the Coppa Italia tomorrow.

Tomorrow’s match at San Siro kicks off at 19.45 UK time and Milan face the Granata for the second time in a row.

Last term, Milan needed 120 minutes to beat Torino 4-2 in the Coppa Italia, when Hakan Calhanoglu equalised in the stoppages to take the two teams into extra time.

Official: Duarte moves to Istanbul

Milan have officially announced that Brazilian defender Leo Duarte moves to Istanbul Basaksehir on loan with an option to buy.

The centre-back joins the Turkish side on loan until June 2022 and the 24-year-old leaves Milan after having played nine games for the Diavolo.

He moved to San Siro from Flamengo in August 2019 and has only appeared in three competitive games this term.

“AC Milan and Istanbul Basaksehir FK have reached an agreement over the loan of Leonardo Campos Duarte da Silva,” the club wrote.

Calhanoglu close to new deal?

Milan attacker Hakan Calhanoglu posted a photo with the No10 shirt, sparking rumours he’s on the verge of renewing with the Rossoneri.

The Turkey international’s contract expires in June 2021 and can discuss with other clubs this winter, but the Diavolo are working to secure a new contract for the attacking midfielder.

Tonali and Brahim to start vs. Torino?

Relief for Milan as both Sandro Tonali and Brahim Diaz reportedly trained with the rest of the group today and could start against Torino in Coppa Italia.

Duarte undergoes Basaksehir medical

Milan defender Leo Duarte is undergoing medical examinations with Istanbul Basaksehir ahead of his loan move to Turkey.

The 24-year-old has three appearances in all competitions with the Rossoneri so far this season and is now set to complete a loan move to Istanbul Basaksehir.

According to Calciomercato.com, Duarte is undergoing medical examinations in Turkey.
