VAR used in Italian Senate vote

VAR is so popular in Italy that it even crept into tonight’s Senate vote of no confidence in the Government – with Adriano Galliani involved.

Video: Don't rush Ibrahimovic

Zlatan Ibrahimovic bagged a brace against Cagliari, played 90 minutes and gave a post-match interview to someone younger than him, so the Milan veteran had something to say.

Ibra made his comeback from the start in last night’s 2-0 Serie A victory at the Sardegna Arena.

He was inevitably chosen as Man of the Match and he was taken to one side after the final whistle for the touchline interview.

Most players are a little short of breath when going into these encounters, so 39-year-old Ibra was in no mood to be rushed.
