Laxalt: 'Milan have weaknesses'

Diego Laxalt warns Milan: ‘Every team have weak points,’ ahead of their Europa League meeting on Thursday.

"It will be a complicated and difficult game, It will be beautiful,” Laxalt told Milannews.it.

The Uruguay International joined Celtic on loan from Milan in the summer.

“For me it is a great opportunity. I am doing my best to help the team and my time will come. I hope I can help.”

“Every team has weaknesses,” the 27-year-old says referring to Milan.

Milan name squad for Celtic

Milan have released their squad list for their Europa League clash against Celtic. Injured Hakan Calhanoglu and Ante Rebic are still out of action while Leo Duarte has tested negative for Covid but won’t travel with the team to Scotland.

Report: Calhanoglu asks for €6.5m at Milan

Milan forward Hakan Calhanoglu's agent reportedly asks for €6.5m a year to renew with the Rossoneri.

The Turkey international, who suffered a sprained ankle in training and will be out for 10 days, is one of the Milan players with a deal expiring in June 2021.

Calhanoglu has expressed his wish to stay at San Siro, but Tuttosport claims his agent Gordon Stipic has asked for a new deal worth €6.5m a season to remain.

Calhanoglu ruled out for 10 days

According to Sky Sport Italia, Milan will be without Hakan Calhanoglu for at least 10 days after he suffered a sprained ankle.

The Turkey international sustained the injury during a training session and was spotted on crutches this afternoon.

It’s reported the tests confirmed a sprained ankle and he will be out of action for at least 10 days.

Dalot: 'Become complete at Milan'

Diogo Dalot hopes to ‘become a complete player’ at Milan and describes the areas where he still needs to improve after the loan from Manchester United.

The full-back arrived on loan from Manchester United, without an option to buy, although the two clubs are open to discussing it in future.

Rüdiger 'turned down one or two offers'

Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rüdiger admitted he studied his alternatives during the transfer market, amid links with Roma, Inter and Milan.

The former Roma defender was linked with a return to Serie A and the Giallorossi were mentioned in Italian media as a possible destination for the German.

Milan and Inter appeared to be looking at a possible loan deal with the Blues, but Rüdiger wasn’t rushing to get a deal over the line.

The former Red Bull director wants a return to football but has told El Pais he is not interested in a role at the Giallorossi.

Hauge: 'Milan know what I can do'

Milan winger Jens Petter Hauge hopes he’s at the beginning of ‘many good years to come’ for the Rossoneri and said it was ‘wonderful’ to play at San Siro.

Hauge moved from Bodo/Glimt to Milan after having impressed in a 3-2 defeat to the Diavolo in the third qualifying round of the Europa League this season.

Report: Calhanoglu misses Celtic with sprained ankle

Milan forward Hakan Calhanoglu has reportedly suffered a sprained ankle and will undergo further tests to assess the extent of the injury.

MilanNews reports the Turkey international has injured his left ankle and will undergo medical examinations to understand the extent of the damage.

Calhanoglu has appeared four times in Serie A this season and played the full 90 minutes against Inter in the Derby della Madonnina last weekend.

The 26-year-old left training on crutches and will miss the match against Celtic in the Europa League on Thursday.

Spadafora: 'Serie A needs Plan B and C'

Minister of Sport Vincenzo Spadafora said football has no ‘certainties’ to complete the season and urges Serie A to ‘find a Plan B and C’.

After a new wave of coronavirus in the top tier, the Minister of Sport said he believes the championship can be completed but stressed he can’t guarantee anything.

“We can do it, but I don’t know if we can go all the way,” Spadafora told La7. “We have no certainties for either Serie A or the other aspects.

“The League must find a Plan B and C.”
