Report: Leao asked to compensate Sporting

Milan forward Rafael Leao will reportedly have to pay €16.5m in compensation to his former club Sporting CP.

Leao freed himself from the contract that tied him to Sporting Lisbon, where he came through the academy, to help his move to Lille in the summer of 2018.

The young striker allegedly decided to leave Lisbon after a group of fans broke into the club’s sports centre and since that summer, Sporting have opposed the validity of the termination.

Juventus in Theo Hernandez hunt

Juventus and Premier League clubs are reportedly preparing a €45m offer for Theo Hernandez, but Milan have no intention of letting the left-back go.

The 22-year-old made a spectacular impact following his €20m move from Real Madrid in July, becoming their second top scorer with six goals and two assists in 25 competitive games.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, his transfer value has doubled and Milan would be prepared to part with the French-Spanish talent after just one season for €40-50m.

Five Azzurri ready for Euro 2021

Now that Euro 2020 is postponed to next summer, Wayne Girard takes a look at some Italy players who are frankly overjoyed about that delay.

As we all know by now, the Euro 2020 tournament has now been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
