Report: Milan bid €20m for Taison

Milan have reportedly made a €20m bid for Shakhtar Donetsk winger Taison.

According to transfer expert Matteo Pedrosi, Milan are working on a deal for Taison and have tabled an offer.

Pedrosi warns Shakhtar are still holding out for €30m, the value of his release clause, but notes the Rossoneri are trying to negotiate a lower price.

The 31-year-old has already made it clear that he wants to leave the Ukrainian champions before tonight’s deadline.

Rebic on verge of Milan move

Italian and German reports claim Eintracht Frankfurt striker Ante Rebic has agreed a €25-30m transfer to Milan, rather than their rivals Inter.

The forward had been ‘reserved’ for the last week by Inter, who saw him as the ideal replacement should Matteo Politano move to Fiorentina.

However, it seems as if Inter have ruled out releasing Politano, even for €30m, so Rebic has been released.

Taison agent: 'Milan and Roma bids'

Milan and Roma saw offers for Taison rejected, said the Brazilian’s agent, because Shakhtar Donetsk “want the €30m clause paid.”

The 31-year-old attacking winger has been heavily linked with a move to Serie A, particularly a reunion with former Shakhtar Coach Paulo Fonseca at Roma.

Over the last 48 hours, Milan have also entered into negotiations, seeing him as a cheaper alternative to €50m-rated Atletico Madrid man Angel Correa.

Giampaolo: 'I make Milan choices'

Marco Giampaolo defended his decisions after Milan beat Brescia 1-0. “If Krzysztof Piatek is on the bench, it’s not the end of the world. Lucas Paqueta must be less Brazilian.”

Hakan Calhanoglu’s early header on a Suso cross was decisive at San Siro, but the tactician’s starting XI with Andre Silva caused a lot of confusion among fans.

“Every game requires its own choices and in this one I chose Andre Silva and Bennacer,” the Coach told DAZN.

Corini: 'Only regret is result'

Eugenio Corini felt Brescia could’ve grabbed an equaliser at San Siro and “the only regrets are over the result” after defeat to Milan.

“I have to compliment the lads, because they played with character at a stadium like San Siro. We gave our all, we conceded a goal on a throw-in, but practically nothing else.
