Vecino still in doubt for Inter

Reports suggest Inter midfielder Matias Vecino only has muscular fatigue, but he could still miss the derby with Milan.

The 27-year-old left the Uruguay camp with an injury, and returned to Italy for tests.

Sky reports that he only has muscular fatigue, but is nevertheless a doubt for the Derby della Madonnina on Sunday night.

Vecino will be evaluated on a daily basis by the Nerazzurri medical staff, but with Barcelona coming up in midweek he won’t be risked if he isn’t 100 per cent fit.

Biglia: Thank you, Milan!

Lucas Biglia has thanked Milan for persisting with him but admitted that ‘we’ve lacked ruthlessness and suffering in so many games’.

Bonucci backs Milan for derby

Leonardo Bonucci says he is ‘backing’ Milan to win next week’s Derby della Madonnina against Inter.

“I hope to see a great game, but I’m backing Milan,” he continued at a Press conference for Italy’s Nations League match against Poland on Sunday.

“I left behind a good bunch of lads and a great Coach.”
