Official: Samp sign Inter's Bonazzoli

Sampdoria have bought Inter youth team striker Federico Bonazzoli, but leave him on loan for six months.

The 17-year-old has made several appearances for the senior squad this season.

Samp officially signed Bonazzoli for a reported fee of €4.5m and leave him on loan at Inter until the end of the season.

While he will be owned by Sampdoria, it’s rumoured Inter can retain a buy-back option for €9m to be exercised within the next three years.

Samp: Eto'o-Mihajlovic 'small row'

Sampdoria President Massimo Ferrero insists Samuel Eto’o and Sinisa Mihajlovic “just had a small row. Stay calm.”

The striker left training this morning and reportedly drove to see his family in Milan, despite there being another session planned for the afternoon.

It was widely reported Eto’o had a blazing row with Coach Mihajlovic over the two ‘punishment’ training sessions for today after a 5-1 defeat to Torino.

Report: Eto'o could leave Samp

There are sensational reports that Samuel Eto’o could be set to tear up his Sampdoria contract, just six days after signing.

The former Everton striker is believed to have walked out of training today, refusing to take part in a double training session.

Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic imposed the double workout as punishment for his team’s display in a 5-1 defeat to Torino yesterday.

Eto’o refuses to train?

It’s being reported that Sampdoria striker Samuel Eto’o has refused to take part in a double training session this morning.

Eto’o has only recently joined the Blucerchiati, arriving from English Premier League side Everton.

Samp were beaten 5-1 by Torino at the weekend, with Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic declaring that the squad would be made to do double training sessions as a punishment.

Mihajlovic: 'Samp are ashamed'

Sinisa Mihajlovic apologised to Sampdoria fans after a 5-1 defeat to Torino. “We should all be ashamed.”

The club has already announced it will ‘punish’ the squad by cancelling a day off and instead holding a double training session tomorrow.

“First of all I must apologise to all of our fans for this performance. I am the first person responsible for this spectacle, but my players must also take a long, hard look at themselves.

The Cameroonian striker, who was presented earlier today to the media, was only waiting for the last paperwork to be sent over from former club Everton before the Blucerchiati could officially field him.

Eto’o: ‘Serie A not attractive’

Samuel Eto’o admits Serie A isn’t as attractive as it was, despite returning to Italy to join Sampdoria.

The Cameroonian spent two seasons at Inter, winning the Champions League in 2010, and the new Blucerchiato believes Italy needs something similar to attract the top names.

“[Serie A is] not very attractive,” Eto’o conceded at a Press conference to officially announce his signing.

“Not because the standard is low, but because Italian teams haven’t won at European level.

Official: Eto’o signs for Sampdoria

Samuel Eto’o has officially completed his transfer to Sampdoria, as they and Everton confirm the move.

The move has been known for some time now, but could not be finalised as all the necessary paperwork had not been completed.

The Cameroonian striker was presented to the club’s fans on Sunday, and is now officially a Blucerchiato, having signed a three-and-a-half year deal.
