Leonardo confirms Carlos Bacca and André Silva could be sold, but Manuel Locatelli won’t be told to leave Milan.

The general manager was at Casa Milan today for Ivan Strinic and Pepe Reina’s presentation, and he was quizzed about players who could leave.

“We have a great relationship with Bacca,” Leonardo replied.

“We’re trying to solve things in a positive atmosphere, he knows the situation and he has his needs, we’ll see if we can resolve things. He could also stay.

Sassuolo back in for Locatelli

Tiémoué Bakayoko’s imminent move to Milan has cleared the way for Manuel Locatelli to join Sassuolo, whose sporting director is meeting the Rossoneri.

The Diavolo are close to securing a loan deal for the Chelsea midfielder, who cost around €45m just a year ago.

Milan won’t sell Locatelli

Milan’s new owners have blocked Manuel Locatelli’s potential move to Sassuolo, according to reports.

The young midfielder had been linked with a move to the Neroverdi, possibly with a buyback clause.

However, negotiations were taking place under the ownership of Yonghong Li, who has been ousted by U.S hedge fund Elliot Management.

Now Corriere della Sera is reporting that the new owners see the 20-year-old as a very valuable asset, who could be sold for a big fee in the future.
