Roma don't need Totti

Roma showed they are strong enough to get through Francesco Totti controversy and target third place, writes Edward Stratmann.

It all started when Roma's captain and icon, who's been with the club for over 23 years, voiced his dissatisfaction towards his Coach, Luciano Spalletti, about his lack of playing time and the level of transparency in their relationship. Totti clearly wanted his concerns heard, for he knew by speaking to state television station Rai that his message would be widely dispersed.
