Spalletti ready for Roma return

There are reports Luciano Spalletti has given the all-clear for a return to Roma if Rudi Garcia is fired.

President James Pallotta flew in last night and told reporters he was “pretty angry” after their 1-1 draw at Torino.

The Giallorossi are under fire from fans and media following a series of poor results.

The next few days will be decisive, as they go into a Champions League decider with BATE Borisov and a Serie A showdown against Napoli.

Pallotta: 'I'm pretty angry'

Roma President James Pallotta has landed in Italy. “I am pretty angry,” he said after a 1-1 draw at Torino.

The patron arrived this evening and will be in the stands for Wednesday’s Champions League clash with BATE Borisov.

“I didn’t see the match, as I was on the plane. Good penalty?” Pallotta told reporters at the airport.

“I am pretty angry. I have a lot more meetings planned this weekend, both for the new stadium and with prefect Gabrielli.

Baldissoni: 'Roma support Garcia'

Baldissoni: ‘Embarassing in Barcelona’

Roma director general Mauro Baldissoni apologises after the Barcelona defeat - “it was embarrassing”.

The Giallorossi were battered 6-1 in the Champions League on Tuesday night, with reports of a rift between Coach Rudi Garcia and sporting director Walter Sabatini.

Speaking to Roma Radio, Sabatini’s fellow director appeared in no mood to lower the tension.

“I share the sadness and anger,” Baldissoni said.

Pallotta furious after Roma fall?

President James Pallotta is rumoured to be furious after Roma's 6-1 humiliation at the hands of Barcelona.

This is the second catastrophic result in two years for the Giallorossi, after losing 7-1 to Bayern Munich last season.

While Pallotta did not release any official statements, LaRoma24.it reports that he was furious after the game, and that he called the club's CEO Italo Zanzi.

Pallotta: ‘Derby Roma’s best match’

Roma President James Pallotta says the Rome Derby win was their ‘best game of the season’ and wants a solution with the Ultras.

Roma beat Lazio 2-0 in Sunday’s Derby della Capitale, but the encounter was overshadowed by the empty Curva Nord and Sud sections of both teams’ Ultras, in protest at new security measures.

Despite that, Pallotta was buoyed by the performance and called on the team to ‘go forward on this path.’

Pallotta: 'Where's Roma's curva now?'

Roma President James Pallotta lashes back at the ultras: 'I was the one singing, where's the curva now?'

The fans of both Roma and Lazio boycotted the derby, which ended 2-0 for the Giallorossi, to protest against measures to block off the part of stadium known as the 'curva'.

While the fans did not show up during the match, they were at the hotel to cheer up the team and sing choruses.

Official: Roma appoint Colette

Roma President James Pallotta introduces new chief marketing officer Laurent Colette: “We strive to be one of the most successful clubs in the world.”

The Giallorrossi announced the appointment of former marketing guru Colette, who has previously worked in a similar role at Barcelona since 2010, in a statement on their website today.

The club statement says that he will “oversee all global commercial and marketing activities for Roma.”

Strootman contract confusion
