Italy star Jorginho celebrates Chelsea's win against Tottenham on social media. ‘London is Blue.’

The former Napoli star scored the winner in Chelsea’s 1-0 win over José Mourinho’s Tottenham on Thursday night.

Jorginho converted from the spot after 24 minutes, allowing his side snatch their second successive Premier League win and move 6th in the Premier League table.

The 29-year-old celebrated with several stories published on Instagram and a post where he wrote: ‘London is Blue.’

Mancini: 'There's still time for Balotelli'

Italy CT Roberto Mancini has claimed Monza forward Mario Balotelli still has time to earn a return to the Azzurri. 'He has the best technique in Italy'.

The striker left Brescia after the relegation to Serie B and has moved to Monza in the same division, but he has struggled with injuries since his move.

Balotelli, who has experience from Inter, Manchester City, Milan, Liverpool and Nice, scored in his only appearance in the second tie.

Mancini steps down after Qatar 2022

Italy CT Roberto Mancini has announced he steps down from the position after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and suggested three names to succeed him.

The current CT has helped the Azzurri revive their position in European football and qualified for Euro 2020 with 10 out of 10 wins in the group stage.

The coach has made it known he wants a return to club football after the World Cup in 2022 and told Tiki Taka: “I will no longer be the coach of the national team after the World Cup in Qatar 2022.

“I will return to coaching a club.”

Video: Cutrone arrives for Valencia

Patrick Cutrone has landed in Valencia where he will undergo his medical tests with the La Liga side.

The former Milan and Fiorentina striker ended his loan spell at the Artemio Franchi earlier in January to make Wolves return.

He had been linked with a move to Parma and Udinese, but the product of Milan academy eventually reached an agreement to join Valencia on loan until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old has just arrived in Valencia to undergo his medical tests with Javi Garcia’s side.

Official: El Shaarawy returns to Roma

Roma have announced the signing of Stephan El Shaarawy who returns to the club after one and a half years.

The Italy international had left the Olimpico in the summer of 2019 to join Shanghai Shenhua.

He has now returned to the club as a free agent.

“AS Roma are delighted to announce the return of Stephan El Shaarawy to the club,” the club’s official announcement reads.

“The Italy international rejoins the Giallorossi for a second spell, after his successful time in the capital from 2016-19.

The Italy international returns to the Stadio Olimpico two years after having left the capital to join Shanghai Shenhua.

The former Milan and Genoa striker has terminated his contract with the Chinese club and is set to return to Roma as a free agent.

“I am fit and happy to be back,” the 28-year-old told reporters upon his arrival at Rome’s Villa Stuart.

On this day, 18 years ago, Daniele De Rossi played his first Serie A game for Roma against Como.

On January 25, the Giallorossi lost 2-0 to Como, but despite the poor result it was a historic day for La Lupa.

De Rossi made his first appearance in the League with the Giallorossi and he went on to wear the shirt for 17 seasons.

The midfielder played 459 games in Serie A for Roma and his last came against Parma on May 26, 2019, before he moved for a short stint at Boca Juniors in Argentina.

Mancini: ‘Kokorin had the quality to play for Real Madrid'

Italy CT Roberto Mancini claims Fiorentina bound Aleksandr Kokorin ‘had the quality to play for Real Madrid.’

Mancini coached the Russian striker at Zenit in the 2017-18 campaign, when Kokorin scored 19 goals in 35 games.

“I can only speak highly of him, both as a footballer and as a person,” Mancini told La Nazione.

“Kokorin is a champion, he had the quality to play for any club, including Real Madrid,” he added.
