Milan debate post-Miha options

Sinisa Mihajlovic could have his final game tonight, but Milan can’t agree on Marcello Lippi, Fabio Capello or Cristian Brocchi.

Nasty Capello-Ronaldo rift

Fabio Capello says Ronaldo was overweight and 'a negative leader', the player replies: 'He was already cooked in Madrid'.

The Italian coached 'O Fenomeno' when returning to Real Madrid in 2006, but at yesterday's Globe Soccer Awards ceremony, he described the player in less than generous terms.

“He showed up in Madrid weighing 96kg, I asked him to come down to 88-90, but it was no use,” he said, as reported by Gazzetta.it.

Capello: 'Ballon d'Or is crazy'

Fabio Capello analyses the current Italy squad, but thinks it “crazy Franco Baresi and Paolo Maldini never won the Ballon d’Or.”

The former Milan tactician spoke to Calciomercato.com and there’s one snub he cannot let go of.

“The Ballon d’Or is a strange award, as it almost always ends up in the hands of a striker, because goalscorers light up the imagination,” noted Capello.

“If I think that Baresi and Maldini never won the Ballon d’Or, then it’s just crazy.”

Capello: 'Juve can hurt Bayern'

Fabio Capello tips Juventus to progress against Bayern Munich in the Champions League. “They have problems in defence.”

The Bianconeri will face Pep Guardiola’s German giants in the Round of 16 in February, hoping to reach a second consecutive Final.

“It will be an interesting game because Bayern Munich are very dangerous in attack, but they also have problems when they need to defend and Juve strikers and midfielders are very quick.

“Bayern therefore have to be really careful,” Capello told Omnisport.

Capello: ‘Difficult working in Rome’

Former Roma Coach Fabio Capello says there’s ‘crazy pressure’ in Rome: “It’s very difficult to work there”.

Giallorossi boss Rudi Garcia and his Lazio counterpart Stefano Pioli have both felt the pressure this season after underwhelming campaigns so far.

Capello coached the Lupi between 1999 and 2004 and believes that the city ‘bewitches’ people, but that this isn’t always a good thing.

Capello: ‘Inter favourites, Milan unsure’

Inter are Scudetto favourites ‘thanks to Roberto Mancini’ and Milan ‘don’t have much quality’ says Fabio Capello.

“The level of the championship? It has improved in general, with teams that have strengthened,” he told Radio Anch’io lo Sport.

“Inter are in the lead and I consider them favourites thanks to Mancini.
