Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has made contact with Lille to explore a move for Arsenal target Edon Zhegrova, reports detail.

The Bianconeri are preparing for an important summer transfer window, needing to start rebuilding the squad as they continue moving in a sustainable direction. A new winger is needed, especially as contract talks with Federico Chiesa fail to produce a result.

Zhegrova has continued to grow and shine with Lille this season, netting 11 goals and providing nine assists across 43 appearances. Last summer, he was heavily linked with a number of clubs including Arsenal, Milan and Napoli.

Juventus on Zhegrova

As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Juventus have sent scouts to closely follow Zhegrova on a number of occasions this season and director Giuntoli recently made contact to understand the margins of a possible deal, learning the winger’s €15m price tag.

The 26-year-old’s tactical flexibility, technical abilities and personality make him an attractive option for the Old Lady, who’ll need to beat off competition from the interested Arsenal.
