Buffon: Why I left PSG...

Gianluigi Buffon explained his decision to leave PSG and options going forward. “I am in search of emotions. If I lack the drive I’m looking for, I might gift myself a year of learning.”

The goalkeeper is considering his next career move, having turned down a contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain after one season in France.

“The other day, I read a phrase that I really liked,” he told the Corriere dello Sport.

Born in Brazil, he moved to Italy at the age of 15 and spent most of his career in the Peninsula.

Suarez: 'I was in denial on Chiellini'

Uruguay international Luis Suarez admits he was “in denial” after biting Giorgio Chiellini’s shoulder during the 2014 World Cup and needed psychological help.

The incident occurred during a group game, which saw Italy lose 1-0, but it could’ve been very different with VAR, as Suarez got away with his attack on the defender.

“My wife asked me what happened and I told her we simply collided. I did not accept the reality, I was in denial, and that was a big mistake,” confessed Suarez on Fox Sports.

The Italy international joined Marseille in January from OGC Nice, scoring seven goals in 15 Ligue 1 games.

His contract runs out on June 30, but according to Il Giorno newspaper, SuperMario could decide to remain with the French side.
