Zampa on Pastore, Alvarez and Arsenal

Palermo patron Maurizio Zamparini believes Javier Pastore will go abroad and “we lost Ricky Alvarez to Arsenal.”

The President told Radio Kiss Kiss that Pastore, who he has valued at €50m, is unlikely to remain in Serie A for another season.

“Pastore is absolutely a top player and there are three or four clubs tracking him. His agent is waiting calmly. With the money he's worth, obviously those clubs have certain resources at their disposal.

Is Fabregas Milan's Mr X?

Reports in Italy are suggesting that Milan's mystery summer transfer target is Cesc Fabregas of Arsenal.

The Italian media have been speculating for months about the identity of Mr X, the midfielder whom the Scudetto holders hope to grab before the window closes.

After links with Napoli's Marek Hamsik were again shot down this week, whispers are starting to get louder that the San Siro giants actually want the Spaniard.

Roma in London for Clichy and Vucinic

Roma chief Walter Sabatini is in London to discuss the fates of Gael Clichy and Mirko Vucinic.

It has been known for several weeks that the Giallorossi are interested in Arsenal star Clichy and negotiations are developing to an advanced stage.

Director of Sport Sabatini is in London today for talks with the Gunners, who have valued the Frenchman at €11.5m.

So far Roma have offered only €8m and there is competition from other Premier League clubs, as Clichy recently rejected a contract extension at the Emirates.

Viviano paired with Arsenal

Bologna's Emiliano Viviano is a possible summer transfer target for Premiership giants Arsenal.

The London club are set to swoop for a new custodian and Viviano has been paired with a switch to England today.

Viviano is 25 and is now a full Italian international, even if only an understudy to Juventus veteran Gigi Buffon on the Azzurri stage.

Viviano's future, however, is somewhat complicated to decipher seeing as he is currently part-owned by Bologna and Inter.

Inter to focus on Nasri

Reports in Italy and France suggest Samir Nasri of Arsenal is the big transfer coup on Inter's summer agenda.

The Gunners starlet's contract expires in June 2012 and he has not been eager to renew, so a sale seems likely.

According to Sky Sport Italia, President Massimo Moratti has set his sights on taking Nasri to Serie A.

It certainly wouldn't be the first time, as he has been interested in the French international since his days at Marseille in 2008, when Arsenal purchased him for £15.8m.

Inter consider Bendtner

Inter are said to have revived their interest in Arsenal's Nicklas Bendtner, who is also tracked by Milan and Juventus.

The 23-year-old has made it perfectly clear he does not want to remain at The Emirates unless he can be given regular first team football.

According to Sky Sports, the Dane is back on the Nerazzurri's radar for this summer.

They face competition in Serie A alone from the likes of Milan and Juventus, who have been linked with Bendtner in the past.

According to The People, Barcelona are going to make a formal offer of £30m over the next few days, following up two years of very public courting by the club he played for as a boy.

Menez to Arsenal for Clichy?

There are reports Roma are ready to offer Jeremy Menez to Arsenal in exchange for Gael Clichy.

'Fabregas to Milan is fantasy - for now'

Milan director Ariedo Braida claims reports of a move for Cesc Fabregas “is just fantasy football for the moment.”

The Rossoneri have confirmed they want a reinforcement for the left side of midfield and the Arsenal star would be the prime candidate.

“Fabregas to Milan? That is just fantasy football for the moment,” said director of sport Braida, who did not entirely rule out the possibility in future.

A more likely option is Udinese's Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah, who will face Milan on Sunday.
