Chelsea consider Belotti

Reports in Italy claim Chelsea are considering Torino’s Andrea Belotti, after missing out on Romelu Lukaku.

The Blues were expected to sign the Belgian striker this summer, but it now appears Manchester United have beaten them to the Everton man.

With Diego Costa set to leave Stamford Bridge, that leaves Antonio Conte’s side short of striking options, and Sky Italia reports they have two backup options.

The first is Alvaro Morata, who Conte pushed to bring to Juventus before his abrupt departure in the summer of 2014.

Man Utd €80m for James Rodriguez

Italian reports claim that Manchester United are ready to pay Real Madrid €80m for James Rodriguez, a former Inter and Milan target.

The Colombia international is not part of Zinedine Zidane’s plans and asked to be sold so he could get more regular playing time.

Milan and Inter both approached the Merengues, but were put off by both the asking price and his apparent favouring of Jose Mourinho.

According to Mediaset Premium, Manchester United are prepared to pay €80m in order to get James Rodriguez.

Juvevolution in progress

Unlike previous traumatic summers, Adam Digby is confident Juventus will be about evolution, not revolution.

Before the Juventus players had even set foot on the tarmac at Turin’s Caselle airport, talk had already turned to what the club would do on the transfer market this summer. While it is saddening to think that the historic accomplishments of Max Allegri’s men became a footnote to their defeat in the Champions League Final, that is the harsh reality the Bianconeri must face over the next few months.

Milan raise Belotti bid to €80m

Milan are closer than ever to Andrea Belotti by offering to spread the €80m cost over two years, as Nikola Kalinic is put on the back-burner.

The directors from the two clubs met today and, according to the latest reports from Toro.it, the Rossoneri had a new proposal.

Their idea would be to take Il Gallo on loan at a cost of €20m with obligation to buy in a year for another €60m.

Agent: ‘Milan want Morata but…’

Alvaro Morata’s agent says Milan’s offer was “unsatisfactory” for Real Madrid, but Manchester United’s is “very interesting”.

Kalinic would accept Milan

Milan have reportedly agreed personal terms with Nikola Kalinic, but Fiorentina want more than the initial €20m transfer fee.

The Rossoneri need a new striker, as Carlos Bacca is on the market and Gianluca Lapadula could well follow.

With Alvaro Morata heading to Manchester United for €70m and Torino not budging from the €100m price-tag for Andrea Belotti, they have turned to Kalinic.

According to Calciomercato.it and Sky Sport Italia, among others, Kalinic has given the all-clear for a move to Milan.

Milan: Kalinic and Andre Silva?

Milan have dropped interest in Alvaro Morata, instead hoping to get both Nikola Kalinic and Andre Silva for a combined €60m.

Spanish media claim Morata will fly in to England on Monday for final talks with Manchester United, as a deal with Real Madrid is imminent.

Torino won’t lower their €100m asking price for Andrea Belotti either, so the Rossoneri are turning towards two different targets to reinforce their attack.

Agent: ‘Milan want Morata’

Alvaro Morata’s agent confirms interest from Milan in the Real Madrid striker “existed and still exists”.

The Rossoneri have been linked with the Spanish international, but it appears their interest has cooled in recent days after Morata said he’d stay at the Bernabeu.

“Alvaro is a player who wants to play a more important role,” Juanma Lopez warned in an interview with FootMercato.

“He wants to play more, which makes sense for a striker who scored 19 goals [in all competitions]. It’s not enough.

Man Utd €60m not enough for Morata

Real Madrid turned down a €60m offer for Alvaro Morata from Manchester United, as they want €90m for the Milan target, claim Sky Sport Italia.

The Spain international wants more playing time than he is currently receiving at the Bernabeu, but the club won’t let him leave cheap.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Manchester United proposed €60m, but Real Madrid turned it down.

The Merengues are only prepared to sell Morata for €90m, which would also put him outside Milan’s price bracket.
