‘Morata & Sanches on Milan’s terms’

Massimiliano Mirabelli insists Milan will only sign Alvaro Morata and Renato Sanches “on our terms”.

Morata and Sanches were heavily linked with Milan over the weekend, but while Mirabelli made no secret of the Rossoneri’s interest in the pair, the sporting director affirmed they would not be held to ransom.

“Morata? We’ve been looking at him from the beginning [of the window], he’s made himself available to us,” he told Premium Sport.

Fassone: 'Belotti, Morata or Aubameyang'

Milan CEO Marco Fassone gave insight into the “crazy idea” for Leonardo Bonucci. “It’d be nice to have one from Andrea Belotti, Alvaro Morata or Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.”

Chelsea in pole for Danilo

Juventus are focusing on Douglas Costa, so Chelsea are now leading the push for Real Madrid full-back Danilo and want Alvaro Morata too.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Bianconeri made significant steps towards a deal for Bayern Munich winger Douglas Costa today, taking him on loan with obligation to buy in 2018.

This shift in focus means that the non-EU spot in the squad would be taken up and Juve drop their approach for Danilo.

Chelsea consider Belotti

Reports in Italy claim Chelsea are considering Torino’s Andrea Belotti, after missing out on Romelu Lukaku.

The Blues were expected to sign the Belgian striker this summer, but it now appears Manchester United have beaten them to the Everton man.

With Diego Costa set to leave Stamford Bridge, that leaves Antonio Conte’s side short of striking options, and Sky Italia reports they have two backup options.

The first is Alvaro Morata, who Conte pushed to bring to Juventus before his abrupt departure in the summer of 2014.
