Juve suffer Costa injury blow

Douglas Costa faces a spell on the sidelines after Juventus confirmed the winger had a ‘muscular’ injury.

Corriere dello Sport reported earlier on Tuesday that Costa had sustained a hamstring injury during Juve’s 3-3 draw with Parma, and the club have since announced that his condition will be ‘monitored daily’.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Costa will undergo tests on a quadriceps problem he sustained during Juve’s 3-3 draw with Parma on Saturday.

Federico Bernardeschi saw the right attitude as Juventus beat Bologna to reach the Coppa Italia quarter-final and looks ahead to Milan.

The Italy international scored the opener before Moise Kean completed the 2-0 result at the Stadio Dall’Ara.

“I am happy for the goal, but even happier to have qualified for the next round and won a game that was not easy,” Bernardeschi told Rai Sport.
