Mihajlovic: 'Last penalty kick for Barrow'

Sinisa Mihajlovic reveals Musa Barrow won’t take the next penalty kick: ‘He had already missed one.’

Bologna recovered from two goals down and managed a 2-2 draw away at Spezia but their striker Musa Barrow missed a penalty kick in the stoppage time in the second half.

“It’s a fair result even if we made the usual mistakes in the first half,” Mihajlovic told Sky Sport.

Bologna winger Emanuel Vignato says coach Sinisa Mihajlovic ‘motivates everyone’ at the Rossoblu, who aim to ‘score as many points as possible’.

Italy: Mancini has recovered from COVID

Italy CT Roberto Mancini has announced he has recovered from coronavirus. ‘This afternoon I tested negative’.

The Azzurri coach missed out on the international break, when Italy won three out of three games and secured a place in the UEFA Nations League Finals with Alberico Evani in the dugout.

But the coach has confirmed he tested negative for COVID-19 today.

“I received the result of the negative swab this afternoon,” Mancini told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “I’m done, I’m fine.”

Mihajlovic: 'Never thought I wouldn't win'

Bologna coach Sinisa Mihajlovic insists he ‘never even considered’ the possibility he wouldn’t beat leukaemia. ‘I told myself I couldn’t lose.’

He was diagnosed in July 2019, during pre-season training, and after months of chemotherapy, he had a bone marrow transplant.

“I am not one of those who say it’s the taking part that counts. No, I want to win,” he said on television show Domenica In.
