Bonaventura: 'Miha will fix Milan'

Milan's Giacomo Bonaventura is convinced that Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic will 'bring results' in time, and describes his style of play as 'team-oriented'.

The introduction of the Serbian tactician was intended to reinvigorate the Rossoneri after several disappointing seasons, but so far results have not matched expectations.

While there have been rumours that Mihajlovic may end up sacked, several of his players have spoken out in his support, including Bonaventura.

Nesta: ‘Milan, change mentality’

Alessandro Nesta calls on Milan to stick with Sinisa Mihajlovic and says ‘they need to change mentality.’

Former defender Nesta, now head Coach of Miami FC, believes a change in direction is needed but that the Coach isn’t always at fault.

“The club’s problem isn’t the Coach,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

Serie A provides Christmas crackers

Inter gave the chasing pack an early Christmas present, as they threw away a chance to go four points clear, while The Old Lady will not be alone this festive period as she officially joined the party writes Richard Hall.

Until Sunday night Lazio resembled the little boy that Santa forgot as they had struggled to find any sort of form in recent weeks and were also hit by a string of injuries. Inter on the other hand seemed more and more like serious title contenders and were hoping that a victory against the Aquile would see them enter the New Year four points clear of Fiorentina.

Mihajlovic: 'Merry Milan Christmas'

Sinisa Mihajlovic said Milan “will have a good Christmas” after beating Frosinone 4-2. “It’s important to have faith.”

No El Shaarawy Milan return

Stephan El Shaarawy may leave his new club Monaco, but a return to Milan must be excluded, say reports.

The young Italian's move away from the Rossoneri did not revitalise his career as he was hoping, with Coach Leonardo Jardim declaring recently that the player is unfit for three consecutive matches.

According to Sport Mediaset, while the 23-year-old may leave Monaco earlier than anticipated, a return to Milan would be ruled out by Sinisa Mihajlovic, who already has plenty of options for his attack.
