Berlusconi: 'Miha will be evaluated'

Milan President Silvio Berlusconi reiterated he will “evaluate Sinisa Mihajlovic at the end of the season.”

The patron has been highly critical of his Coach throughout the campaign and is widely expected to axe him if he doesn’t win the Coppa Italia against Juventus in May.

“I know you at Palermo are accustomed to a President who changes Coaches with a certain frequency,” Berlusconi said during a political event in Sicily.

“I had, until the 27th year of my Presidency, never done that.”

De Sciglio: ‘Wrong Milan attitude’

Mattia De Sciglio admits Milan’s “main problem this year has been attitude”, and targets a European place.

The Rossoneri have been frustrating this season, and haven’t recorded a win in their last two League games, following a 10-game unbeaten run.

“Our main problem this year has been attitude,” the full-back explained to Milan Channel.

“We maybe didn’t go into the last two games with the right attitude, or we maybe started well and then were less alert over the 90 minutes.

‘Everything contagious at Milan’

‘Everything is contagious’ at Milan according to Demetrio Albertini, who advises that ‘the transfer market isn’t the only way to build a team’.

The former Rossoneri midfielder gave his thoughts on an indifferent season for the Rossoneri after hopes had been high following a summer of big spending.

“I can say one thing that seems to illustrate this moment in time for Milan: everything is contagious, confusion generates confusion,” Albertini told Tuttosport.

Decisive weeks for Milan

Reports say the coming weeks will be decisive for Milan as Sinisa Mihajlovic’s future is decided and a deadline is set for Mr Bee’s investment.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports today that the matches against Lazio, Atalanta and Juventus will be crucial for the Serbian Coach.

If he slips up in these fixtures, he could be sacked and replaced by youth team Coach Christian Brocchi until the end of the season, who is held in high regard by President Silvio Berlusconi.

Milan in a positive slump

Despite now going two games without a win, the fixture list should give new found hope to Milan, states George Rinaldi.

It hasn't been the best of times for the Diavolo recently. There was a poor performance leading to a loss to Sassuolo, who seem to always be the side to wreck a good vibe going around Milan. Then it was the Flying Donkeys of Chievo who revealed a team that aren't at their absolute best of late.

Christian Abbiati, a rare showing for the goalkeeper due to the injured Gianluigi Donnarumma, slated his side's uninspiring showing.

Coppa or out for Miha?

Milan Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic’s future is reportedly up for discussion again, but a Coppa Italia win could save him.

The Serbian tactician has been under almost constant pressure this season and a defeat to Sassuolo followed by Sunday’s stalemate with Chievo is believed to have raised doubts.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that President Silvio Berlusconi isn’t happy with the results and is considering a sacking before the end of the season if things get much worse.

Former Juventus Coach Fabio Capello believes his old side have only a 40 per cent chance against “superior” Bayern Munich.

Milan: Miha's mystery phrase

Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic apparently slammed Milan, but the club says his rant never happened.

The Serbian Coach could not join his team on the bench yesterday evening, as a stale 0-0 draw with Chievo led to new rumours that he would be sacked.

According to Sport Mediaset, Mihajlovic watched the game and allowed himself a disgruntled phrase.

“With this team it's impossible to do anything more,” he is believed to have said.

Sakic: 'Milan were unlucky'

Sinisa Mihajlovic’s assistant Nenad Sakic felt Milan were “unlucky” in their 0-0 draw with Chievo.

The Coach was in the stands due to a touchline ban and Mediaset Premium claim he muttered to fans “it’s impossible to do any more with this squad.”

The club released a statement this afternoon denying he had said that phrase.

“We did not play a bad first half,” insisted assistant manager Sakic on Sky Sport Italia.
