Donnarumma: 'Great performance'

Gianluigi Donnarumma saw “a great performance” as Italy won 2-1 in Finland, their sixth Euro 2020 win out of six, even if they conceded an historic goal.

The Azzurri had never previously conceded on Finnish soil and kept six consecutive clean sheets against the Nordic nation.

“When a penalty goes central, it’s difficult, as you generally have to choose a side,” Donnarumma told Rai Sport of the Teemu Pukki penalty.

Donnarumma sacrifice for James or Isco?

Milan are reportedly ready to sell Gianluigi Donnarumma to PSG, hoping to reinvest in Real Madrid outcasts Isco or James Rodriguez.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport, Donnarumma is very close to accepting a move to Paris Saint-Germain, where he’d reunite with former Rossoneri director Leonardo.

The initial offer of €20m plus Alphonse Areola was rejected, as the San Siro giants want cash only to part with their 20-year-old sensation.

PSG continue Donnarumma pursuit

Paris Saint-Germain are again being linked with Gianluigi Donnarumma, with reports Milan have set a €60m cash only asking price.

The goalkeeper is a youth product and their most valuable player, making him the quickest route to a large profit for the Rossoneri this summer.

Sport Mediaset and La Gazzetta dello Sport continue to maintain PSG are preparing an offer, although Milan would only accept cash and not Alphonse Areola in part-exchange.

Donnarumma ready for Milan

Gianluigi Donnarumma says he is ready to start the new season with Milan and use the disappointment of last term as ‘an extra push’.

That led some to speculate the goalkeeper had played his last match for the Diavolo, but he has now assured that his mind is set on staying put.
