Donnarumma hopes for Juve favour

Gianluigi Donnarumma ‘hopes Juventus do their job’ as it is claimed Milan’s request to play at the same time as Atalanta will be rejected.

Milan have formally asked Lega Serie A to postpone their game against Frosinone next week to avoid giving Atalanta an advantage.

The Dea’s next match - a trip to Juve - has been moved to Sunday evening so the Bianconeri can hold Scudetto celebrations.

Zaniolo world's third most valuable teen

Roma wonderkid Nicolò Zaniolo is the third highest-valued teenager in the world at €67.4m, with Gianluigi Donnarumma in sixth, according to CIES Football Observatory.

The international sports studies observatory released their rankings of the most valuable U-20 talents from around the globe, and 19-year-old Zaniolo’s €67.4m valuation came in third highest.

The former Inter youth product has had a break-out season, the highlight of which was scoring a memorable brace in the Champions League Round of 16 first leg against Porto.

Milan hope to have Gianluigi Donnarumma back in goal for Saturday’s Serie A showdown with Lazio.

The goalkeeper has been out of action since limping off during the opening minutes of their 1-1 draw with Udinese on April 2.

He was diagnosed with a Grade I lesion to the flexor in the right thigh.

According to MilanNews, Donnarumma took part in training today, but separately from the rest of the squad.

It is nonetheless hoped he can recover in time to play this weekend.

Milan handed Kessie boost

Milan midfielder Franck Kessie will reportedly be fit to face Juventus on Saturday, whlle Gianluigi Donnarumma should be back in two weeks.

Kessie was initially expected to miss the trip to Turin with a knee injury, but Sky Sport Italia claims he trained with his Milan teammates on Thursday.

As a result, the Ivorian should be included in the Rossoneri’s squad for the match against Juve.

Gazzetta dello Sport, meanwhile, writes there is cause for optimism that Donnarumma will be back for the visit of on April 18.

Milan confirm serious injuries

Milan confirmed Gianluigi Donnarumma and Lucas Paqueta have serious injuries, but Suso, Franck Kessie and Andrea Conti could recover.

The Rossoneri have a showdown with the Serie A leaders this coming weekend, but must deal with the fallout from their 1-1 home draw with Udinese.

Both Donnarumma and Paqueta limped off at San Siro last night and the initial diagnosis has been confirmed.
