Icardi: 'Inter caused own problems'

Mauro Icardi feels Inter “caused our own problems” after a 3-3 draw with bottom of the table Verona.

“We made life difficult for ourselves, we conceded goals on set plays and should’ve done better,” the striker told Sky Sport Italia.

“We caused our own problems. Now we keep conceding goals and have to fix that. We created chances a lot more recently, but need to improve in attack and defence.”

Zanetti: 'No Icardi problem'

Inter Vice-President Javier Zanetti hopes “February will be different” and assures “there is no Mauro Icardi problem.”

Inter rejected Liverpool Icardi bid

It’s reported Inter turned down a €30m (£22.7m) Liverpool offer for Mauro Icardi on transfer deadline day.

There had been rumours that Icardi was on the market after he was dropped for the Milan Derby and missed a penalty as a substitute.

It continues to be suggested that his rapport with Coach Roberto Mancini has broken down definitively.

Mancini or Icardi to leave?

Roberto Mancini and Mauro Icardi’s relationship has reportedly broken down, meaning one of them will leave in the summer.

There were reports on deadline day that the club were ready to sell Icardi for €25m, but they were soon dismissed as speculation.

However, Tuttosport report today that the relationship between the two has hit rock bottom after the Nerazzurri captain was benched for the Milan derby last weekend.

Reports say Inter will allow Mauro Icardi to leave for €25m today after falling out of favour with Roberto Mancini.

Icardi: ‘Bad Inter spell’

Inter captain Mauro Icardi admits “it’s a bad period for everyone” after recent struggles.

The Nerazzurri are winless in their last three Serie A games, and lost the first leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final with Juventus 3-0 in Turin last night.

“You can always do more,” Icardi said in a Press conference to promote peace ahead of the derby with Milan.

“It’s a bad period for everyone, and as captain I have to be the first to improve.”

Mancini: 'Strikers Inter problem'

Roberto Mancini said “Inter have a problem, our strikers can’t just stand there and wait” after a 1-1 draw with 10-man Carpi.

The Nerazzurri now have one point from their last three home games against Lazio, Sassuolo and Carpi, as Kevin Lasagna scored the equaliser in stoppages.
